Welcome to my website of Contemporary art of painting. My name is Olga Nazarkina. My work (paintings, graphics etc) is presented on this website as well as some other useful information about  painting and art in general. 

I believe that life bears joy and suffering. I think that, probably, the fact that my growth as an artist was influenced by the Russian literature - I was greatly influenced by the works of Dostoevsky and the poetry of  Anna Akhmatova and Josef Brodsky - the theme of suffering and the way out of it became the essence of my creative work.

 I was born in 1981 in Kharkov, Ukraine entered the Kharkov Art School and has held exhibitions from Kiev to New York City. In 2001, I participated in a Charity Auction, lead by Michael Gorbachev, to benefit the victims of 9/11. This website is designed as one of the ways that help me to share my passion with the world.
